Meet your psychologist online for the assessment itself โ a mix of a conversation with you, guided tasks with your child, and rating forms for parents and teachers to complete.
Your psychologist interprets the assessment results alongside your child's developmental history and other relevant information.
Meet your psychologist on another video call to understand what it means for your child, with a clear report and practical next steps.
We use established, standardized instruments that are designed to be completed through a clinician-led interview or structured rating forms. They work the same way on a video call as they do in a clinic.

What online makes easier for your family
Less hassle for your family
No travel, no waiting rooms and no long trip to a clinic. You join from home, at a time you book.
Easier for your child
Many children are more at ease at home than in an unfamiliar clinic, which makes the session calmer for them and for you.
Seen in a familiar place
Your psychologist observes your child in their own space, with their own toys and routine, which can give a more natural picture of how they play and interact.
Available across India
You do not need to live near a specialist centre. With a stable internet connection and a quiet space, you can be assessed from wherever you are.

Founder & CEO
Started Brighters so a child's therapy and school support can be planned around a clear picture of where the child is. 21 years building software, formerly at Google.
Read full profile โYour assessment brings together the information that matters most about your child โ including their developmental history, caregiver concerns, assessment results and, where relevant, information from school or therapy.
Your clinician interprets these pieces together to give you a clear, balanced understanding of your child's strengths, areas that may need support and what the findings mean in everyday life.
Your report includes:
A clear clinical summary
What the assessment findings mean for your child, explained in straightforward language.
Strengths and areas for support
A balanced picture of what your child is doing well and where additional support may be helpful.
Relevant history and context
Developmental history, caregiver concerns and other relevant information are considered alongside the assessment findings.
Practical recommendations
Clear, individualised next steps for home, school and, where appropriate, therapy or other professional support.
The exact report structure and content will vary depending on the assessment your child receives.
More than a snapshot
An assessment tells you where your child is today. But understanding your child's development is not just about a single point in time.
Your assessment creates a baseline that can help you understand how your child is doing now and, where appropriate, track meaningful changes over time.
If your child has a previous comparable assessment, your clinician can look at the findings together to understand what has changed. If this is your child's first assessment, it creates a starting point for future comparison.
Over time, this can help you ask an important question:
Is my child actually making progress โ and are the things we're doing helping?
Where appropriate, future reassessments can help you understand changes in your child's everyday functioning and support needs, rather than relying only on therapy sessions completed, school attendance or individual goals achieved.
Your child's assessment results and personal information are sensitive by nature. Brighters protects them with strong encryption, secure infrastructure, and privacy-first design. We never sell your data, and your child's reports stay within the care process โ used only by you and your clinician, except where legally required.
Read Privacy PolicyEncrypted and secure
Your information is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard security practices.
Never sold
We don't sell or share your family's data with advertisers, ever.
Stays within your care
Your child's reports are used only by you and your clinician, except where legally required.
These are the five things every assessment is built on.
Qualified professionals
Assessments are administered and interpreted by appropriately qualified psychologists.
Established instruments
We use standardized, evidence-based assessment tools appropriate to the question being evaluated.
Clinician judgement matters
Scores never make decisions on their own. Your clinician considers your child's history, context and assessment findings together.
Independent by design
Brighters does not provide therapy. Our only focus is assessment, so every recommendation is about what your child needs.
Supporting progress over time
As your child grows and receives support, their strengths and needs may change. We recommend reassessment about once a year to track progress, understand how current therapies are working, and keep recommendations relevant.
Tell us what you are noticing, even if you cannot put a name to it. We will talk it through with you in a free first conversation and suggest what, if anything, to do next.
